Two real estate agents, Oren, Tal, and Alon Alexander, co-founders of the luxury brokerage Official, have been arrested on sex-trafficking charges. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan accuse the brothers, aged 37-38, of drugging and sexually assaulting women for over a decade, starting in 2010. They face charges of sex-trafficking conspiracy and trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Tal Alexander faces an additional charge. The brothers were arrested in Florida and are expected to be transferred to New York, where they could face life in prison if convicted.

The indictment claims the Alexanders used their wealth and status to lure women into parties or trips, where they would rape the women, sometimes together, hours after meeting them. Victims were reportedly offered travel or concert tickets after the assaults. Tal and Oren Alexander stepped down from their roles at Official in June, though the company remains active in high-end real estate in New York, Miami, and other exclusive areas.

Alon Alexander is an executive at a private security firm. Prosecutors argue the brothers are flight risks, citing their properties in Miami Beach and luxury real estate holdings. The Alexanders have also faced civil lawsuits over sexual assault claims, which they deny.

The Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s office has made sex trafficking a priority, securing convictions in high-profile cases like Ghislaine Maxwell’s. The case against the Alexanders is a significant part of this ongoing effort to prosecute powerful individuals engaged in trafficking.
