A record 126 million viewers tuned in to watch the Philadelphia Eagles dominate the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday, according to estimates released by Fox Sports. The figure includes audiences across Fox’s broadcast network, FOX Deportes, Telemundo, streaming service Tubi, and NFL digital platforms.

The final numbers, expected from Nielsen on Tuesday, could further solidify this as the most-watched Super Bowl in history. Last year’s game on CBS, where the Chiefs secured an overtime win, previously held the record with 123.7 million viewers.

Unlike last year’s nail-biter, this game saw the Eagles take control early and cruise to a 40-22 victory, leaving little doubt about the outcome from the first quarter onward.

The Super Bowl remains the biggest television event in the U.S., drawing massive advertising revenue. This year, brands paid up to $8 million for just 30 seconds of ad time, reflecting the game’s unmatched reach.

With viewership breaking records yet again, the Super Bowl continues to prove its dominance as America’s premier sports and entertainment spectacle.
