Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, influential figures in Donald Trump’s first administration, will not take official roles in his second term, instead relocating to Miami. Kushner, now a private equity executive with substantial Middle Eastern investments, and Ivanka, prioritizing her three children, have distanced themselves from direct political involvement.

Behind the scenes, Kushner remains active, advising on Trump’s Middle Eastern strategy and aiding cabinet appointments. He has been pivotal in guiding Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, on normalization efforts between Israel and Saudi Arabia, a cornerstone of the expanded Abraham Accords.

Ethics concerns surround Kushner’s $2 billion Saudi investment and his regional diplomacy ties. Democratic lawmakers have urged investigations into potential conflicts of interest, accusations Kushner has dismissed as politically driven.

With seasoned aides like Susie Wiles leading Trump’s operations, his reliance on family members has diminished. The Trump sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, also avoid official roles, focusing on ventures like conservative fund 1789 Capital and the Trump Organization.

Kushner’s firm, Affinity Partners, recently secured $1.5 billion in new funding, while Ivanka enjoys a private life in Miami, emphasizing family and personal pursuits. Her Instagram showcases luxury vacations and active hobbies, signaling a departure from politics.

Trump’s second administration appears more structured, relying on trusted aides rather than family, marking a shift in strategy from his previous term.
